It isn’t a German language post, but the title is an original name to an annual event organized by Dois Irmãos City Hall, and means “By the ways of the colony IX”. For those who like eco-activities, it is a really good option. Last weekend I participated by there, and the registration for two hundred people was full in just ten days.
We left Dois Irmãos on Saturday morning (09:00 AM), and arrived in Nova Petrópolis on Sunday, at 01:00 PM. We slept in Pinhal Alto, and had dinner and breakfast there. There was a truck which took our things (pillows, air-mattress, blanket…), over there a support car and ambulance all the way.
Much of the way was route on dirt road, with lot’s of trees and stream. Beautiful landscape complete the scenario.
To return, some buses were available. But if someone wanted to return to Dois Irmãos walking, no problems! (nobody did it… hehe).

That must have been a great event!!! Exactly the kind of thing I'd love to do, but as I told you, working on Saturday mornings really makes it impossible to me!!! That's a great pity. Do you have any pictures? Is it held only once a year?
